Still looking for the answer I have a Col. William Fredrick Chambers
married to Perplexina "Lexie" Ballard. I show he was born in "1798".
Now the questions arises is re Col. Chambers, what was he a "Col." of?
He was born to young to be in the War of 1812, and the only war which he
could have been in was the War with Mexico. Any help would deeply be
appreciated.
