Hi Steve,
Sorry so long to get back with this post. Thank-You for responding.
Do you know where your James L. CHAMBERS is buried?
My James Louis CHAMBERS was born 09-05-1851 in MO and died 01-15-1882. He is buried in
Elston Cemetery, Cole Co. MO.
His wife was Sarah Elizabeth LAMSON born 10-28-1851 in Elston, Cole Co. MO. She died
04-20-1908 in Boonville, Cooper Co. MO. and is buried as Sarah E. PRESTON in Walnut Grove
Cemetery, Boonvile, MO.
Sarah E. LAMSON-CHAMBERS remarried on 12-30-1883 after James CHAMBERS died to Alfred
PRESTON. They were divorced by 1900
Sarah ran the Mrs. Preston's Boarding House in Boonville, MO. Her daughter Mary ran it
after her death. Another daughter Minnie, after the death of Mary.
I have the children for James Louis CHAMBERS and Sarah if you are interested. I have some
of their lineage down also.
I am a descendant from James and Sarah's daughter, Mary Ann CHAMBERS born abt. 1874
she married William Henry BARNES. Mary died abt 1912(?) Not sure, but do know her and
husband William Henry BARNES are buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville, MO.
If this connects, love to exchange info.
Thanks,
Debbie
