Going through some old papers I ran across a copy of some papers that my
sister had. Someone had given her these many years ago to see if we
were connected to this Chambers family. To the best of my knowledge we
are not although our family was also in Tennessee, but in Sequatchie
County, unless, of course, they originally came from South Carolina.
This is a copy of the will that was included, if you recognize any of
these names, please contact me, there is more information. These were
all copied onto paper that, unfortunately, has not held up to the test
of time, they are brown and very difficult to read. There is a letter
from a H.L. Chambers, M.D., Lawrence, Kansas, written November 20,
1949, who tells a lot of recollections abut this family.
