There are an estimated 250,000 cemeteries in the United States. The closest
thing to a complete list is the U.S. Geological Survey's GNIS database,
which lists about 109,000 cemeteries.

Enter the State and then the County. Then under the "Feature Type" select
CEMETERY and click on "Send Query." Those three input elements are all you
need. If you only know a name or part of a name of a feature such as a
stream, church, town, village, school, lake etc., just enter it in the box
which asks for feature name. You will always need the name of the state but
if you do not know the county you can omit it.
You can view a map of the site and zoom in to its exact location or take the
Latitude and Longitude given to plot that location on another software
mapping program such as Delorme Atlas USA.
