I hope you can help me. I have been researching the Chambers
line for a
long time and have come to a stand still. I have an Abraham
Chambers, who
married Susannah Hawkins from Scott County or Jackson County
Tenn. His
mother's name was Nancy (unknown), she was born in S. C.,
father unknown.
Known siblings are Jesse M., Elisha, and Louise. I am trying to
find
Abraham's father. Can you help me? I have looked on your web
page and
cannot find much. thanks John lam102055(a)aol.com

Brenda,
All the records I have of him states he was born in Tenn. I do have
a

Married Susanna Hawkins on April 25, 1846 in Scott County,
Tennessee Died
January 16, 1905 in Boyle County, Kentucky
His mother was born in S. C.
They came to Kentucky sometime after 1860, there is an 1859
census record
of him in the 1850 Jackson County, Tenn. Census. I have just
recently
found out that he had the following siblings:

about
him, except the information after he came to Kentucky. He did run a
sawmill, do not know if that will help or not. thanks looking forward
to
hearing from you John
Brenda
