My grandfather, Earl Chambers Storm, found a picture that he had cut out
that at one time was published in the paper he gets sent to him here in
Illinois from his homeland in Hancock Co. The paper is called The
Hancock Cl--- (the rest was cut off and I haven't asked him the name of
the paper) and is published once a week.
The photo is of his school "class" from the school in Chambers, KY in
1922. It contains him and his brothers Virgil and Wilford as well as
some Bruner cousins that he was related to. The Storms and Bruners were
related by a few marriages. I have a lot of Bruner information from a
book he gave me compiled in large part by a Henry Bruner of Hawesville,
KY. I thought many of you would be interested in this photo that I put
on a web page that you can access at the address below. I apologize for
the length of time it may take for your computer to download it, but it
is interesting. I am hoping that some of you might have information
that will help me as well. My grandfather's parents were Cora Florence
Chambers and George Nester Storm. Cora's parents were Caroline E.
Bruner (daughter of William "Frizzley Bill" Bruner and Emily Eliz Flake)
and Samuel Chambers. I have a decent amount of info on the Bruner line
but I can not get any farther than Samuel Chambers (Samuel P. ?) in my
Chambers line.
I am guessing that Chambers is a common name for that area with a town
of that name there. If anyone can help me out with information on any
of these names, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
