I am curious -
My grandfather was Patrick Brice, born in Newport, County Mayo. His
mother was Mary Chambers so the fact you mention both Brice AND Chambers seemed
very interesting.
I have no knowledge of any that resided in TN though - Chicago area was the
most common place of their immigration.

I can trace my family back to Brice Chambers born about 1834. His wife's
name was Leah Pate. They lived in Sevier Co, TN 1850, 1860, 1870. I
cannot find any details of Brice's parentage/siblings. His children were Samuel
Chambers 1851 (my ancestor), Jane 1853, Mary E. 1855, James T 1858,
Melvine 1863, John M. 1866, William P 1867
