My grandparents were William Oscar Chamber, who was married firs to a woman named Liddy, and then to my grandmother Olena Hannon Chambers. In a post answering the "Looking for Carol Chambers" someone posted that their Oscar Chambers was full-blooded Cherokee. My grandfather William Oscar's mother was Lettie Steward Chambers and she was half cherokee. Is there anyone out there who can verify this information that I have. My Chambers family lived in Oklahoma and moved to Louisiana.

I'm sorry Adriane, all I have is a photo. I have been doing research since 1975 and my files are vast so I don't have a clue where these people were. The Georges were in Arkansas, Texas, Arizona and ultimately in Ca.
I thought the gropu, a family group of Williams: three boys and grandma and grandpa, then their young married daughter Cambers and her son, with tow other surnames might tie into someone's tree.
My interest was to get the photo to a descendent, we often have so few of the olers ones.

If you know which county or state, that might be helpful for others to determine if they might be related to anyone in the photo.

I have an old family photo of Thomas Williams (Grandpa), Almea (Grandma), Clay, Johnny and George Williams, Martha Chambers and son Tom (she looks like a Williams) Ida Shultz and Lou Belcher. My guess it was take around 1930s.
I don't think I have any relation but there is some reason this photo was included in the family photos and my father knew their names.

Paula,
Thanks for your reply.
So far, I have not heard of a Josephine in my branch of the Chambers Family.
My Grandfather, William Washington, seems to be a brick wall. Establishing positive ties for his earlier years is my objective.
Thanks again,
Robert
