Hi Dorothy, thanks for writing. No I don't have that pamphlet. That is wonderful that someone has this signed copy by him. I started this just about a year ago and it is so interesting learning about our ancestry, and who knew that there is so much interesting information? There sure is alot of Chambers individuals! I have just looked for my mothers line and up, just running acrossed Thomas McCutcheon. She was a Dougherty. Her father was Roy Dougherty, his dad was William P Dougherty who was married to Mary Jane Chambers that came west in the wagon train in 1845. There is quite a history in Washington it looks like about Thomas McCutcheon, only a small amount documented about Letitia Delzell it seems (gggrandmother) too (and to alot of others). Have not looked alot into the children yet, but do have the book Recollections written by Andrew Jackson Chambers.

My gggrandmother was Mary Jane Chambers she married William P Dougherty and came to Oregon in 1845, in some of the first wagon trains..looking through information there are so many Chambers..wow, her father was Thomas McCutcheon Chambers (lots of children). Have found a moderate amount of information on him, but after looking at all these Chambers does anyone know if he had any siblings that links up with any of these groups of Chambers listed in the US or did he come straight from Ireland? Does anyone know where he entered the country (port) or anything. I seem to hit a road block any way I look now or maybe not looking in the right places. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
