Percy,
I am also researching Black Chambers families in MS. However, my family is located in Waynesboro, located in Wayne County. As per the 1930 census for Jackson Precinct, Clarke County, Alabama, there are the following:
Sandy-husband
Maggie-wife
Bob-son
Bertis-daughter
Ollie-son
Joe-son
If this helps, let me know.

I am looking for any information regarding Judy Chambers, born 1790, either in North or South Carolina. She had two sons, both born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, named Wesley, born 1835 and Sandy, born 1843. I believe she came to Mississippi between 1825 and 1835 as a slave.
