My husband found a very old picture while working on a house here in Missouri of two small children, Hester Chambers, who looks to be about 2 yrs of age, and Willie Chambers, who looks to be about a year old or less. The back only says Hester and Willie Chambers. I would like to find some family that is related to these folks and send this picture to them. Please email me.. ullom(a)centurytel.net

The family is located on page 91, Subdivision 18, Blount County, Alabama in the 1850 census. He is enumerated as
William Chamber, wife Polly, son is Asberry. If you use Ancestry, the census page is at:

materal side of the family) is listed in the 1870 census as being from Alabama. In the 1860 Census all of the family is
shown to be from Mississippi. I could use some help in locating them in the 1850 census. Everywhere I look I come up
with nothing.

Was interested in how much genealogy you have on that side. It sounds like we may have a tie. My husband's great grandfather was Julius Czymbor from Poland; and he lived in Bridgewater and was married to an Anastasia. They had 4 children: Anastasia, Mary, Julius, and John.
I would love to connect with you to see if we have a match. So far I have not been able to find any information further back than this. I also see a John Chambers on Ancestry that I wonder about being a relative....
Anyways, I look forward to connecting. Please email me at kelleyfamilytree(a)hotmail.com, since this is a public library account. Thanks in advance! Stephanie

Hi Rita!
My Simpson family has been researching for awhile. What we know so far is: Enoch and Sophia Simpson are the parents of Felix,Jeptha.Ann or" Hannah", Jane, Jacob, and possibly Ezekiel. This family without children is on the 1790 census in Duplin N C. They appear on the 1800 census. No records in1810. The next record is in Washington Co. Georgia in the Bethlehem Baptist Church minutes and the Darien Church. The 1820 census shows Sophia Manning. Sometime in between the move to Georgia Enoch died and Sophia married Elijah Manning. Members of the family appear on the Hancock Ga. Censuses in 1830 forward. Jacob, from whom I am descended, left Hancock between 1850-1860. He is next in Haralson and Campbell Counties. My GGrandfather, James Monroe Simpson, the youngest son of Jacob was married in Fayette Co., lived in Troup and Muscogee where he is buried along with my Grandfather, James William Simpson, who was born in Old Cambell Co. which is now Fulton. My father was William Dougl!
as Simpson, born in Muscogee Co. and died last year in Broward Co., Fl. Some of the descendants of our Simpson family live in Milledgeville and around Columbus where my branch moved. I am in Texas, along with another descendant of Felix. We had the pleasure of meeting last November and are in contact weekly about the ongoing research. I am not sure how much information he has on the Chambers, but we will be glad to exchange what we have.
I am still in the gathering stage and need to organize mine into a Gedcom etc.
Look forward to hearing from you and will be open to corresponding in private.

I am searching for info. on Cecil Chambers of Iowa. I believe he was born in 1901, he was married to Phylis Leumkuil(sp?).
They were my grandparents. They divorced after a few years of marriage and had 2 children, Duane and Margaret. I have no idea we're he went after that.

Caryn, I descend from the Kinsey Chambers line that was married to Ann Simpson. I am so much interested in the Simpson line and how to connect them to my lines. I have lots and lots of info on the Harden Chambers that married Nicey Kinsey descendants. I descend down thru Ira, James Thomas, Asa, Lonnie, Roscoe, etc. I would be glad to share what I have with you. Rita Chambers
