Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I recently prepared this chart and thought it might be useful to someone
else as well.

I noticed that you have a connection in or about Pleasant Grove, Texas. I have hit a stone wall in finding any info about my grandfather, Grover C. (Cleveland) Chambers. I know his first marriage had to have been in Houston or Anderson.
If you have any info, I would very much appreciate your contacting me.
Many thanks!

Julie, I'm hoping this is the Chambers line you're looking for as I'm hitting a dead end here in New Brunswick.
My Great-Grandfather, James Proctor Mountain married a Margaret Chambers in Northumberland County, NB on Dec 6, 1897. At the time she had been married before to a James Keswick and had lived somewhere in the U.S where they had a son born in the U.S on April 1, 1895 by the name of George Ernest Keswick. After Margaret returned to New Brunswick and married James Mountain they had children born in Bay Du Vin New Brunswick.
Please feel free to email me at muffie(a)nbnet.nb.ca

I agree the date of your Mary's birth renders her an unsuitable
candidate. I've search high and low in records from Columbia County, New
York (where Mary's four children were born) and in neighboring counties
in nearby Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont, but without success. In
fact I've found precious few Chambers, I'd give anything if her first
names, Christian and surname, were less common, but they are what she
bore and so far identifying their source has proved fruitless.
Nonetheless I appreciate your reply. Orange County, Vermont, is a bit far
from Columbia County, New York, at least for the 18th century, but it
does locate a Chambers family. And as you suggest, there may be relations
nearby.
Thanks again for the reply.
Best regards,
Kelvin Kean

Kelvin,
The closest match I have is Mary Chambers, b. Aug 1776, dau. of William Corydon
Chambers and Sarah Dunshee. They lived in Orange Co, VT. I have nothing else
on her; my line is through William's son Robert. The date is clearly too far off if she
had a child in 1781, but maybe William had an older brother with a daughter named
Mary? :-)
If anyone else is related to these VT Chambers, I'd like to exchange information.
Seems like a lot of the Chambers on this list are from PA or the southern states.
