Wow. It sure sounds as if we are talking about the same Carol. But I wonder ... do you know what approximate age Carol would be about now - - or her kids, for that matter? About what year did they come to visit you? I'm just trying to get a grasp on whether there is a connection.
Tom Chambers, Carol's dad, had three other kids besides Carol. Do you have their names?
I'm just trying to be careful of my aunt Carol's privacy. :-) If you could shed a little more light on this, I would be glad to forward your message to her.
Thanks and God bless!

I'm really sorry but I don't think there is a connection I've never
heard of William and Hester Chambers or George. My
grandparents were Oscar Threll and Audrey Pearl Chambers
The moved to Hutchinson from Oklahoma When my dad was
about 13. Sorry I hope you find the information you are looking for. my line comes from the Chambers/Hill Families.
Thank You,

I saw your posting and think it is not a coincidence. I have been searching for my ggrandparents and recently received info from Maxine Coughlin that they moved to Hutchinson, Kansas in 1887. They were William & Hester Chambers. Their son George was my grandfather. Is this a connection to your Chambers? Would love to find out anything about William & Hester and their other descendants.

Thank you so very much for your reply. The Carol you are talking about has to be the one I've been looking for. I meet
Carol and her family when I was little. I never forgot Marty, Becky, and Rons names. We had a lot of fun when they came to Hutchinson, Kansas to visit my grandma Chambers.
My aunt Imogene Prichard had Carol's address and phone number. But she pasted away and her son Stanley. Wouldn't let us look at any of her information. Carol will know my aunt Imogene's name because they use to keep in touch with each other. My name is Carolyn (Chambers) King I live in Hutchinson, Kansas. I've been looking for Carol for my Dad, Hershall Chambers. My dad and Tom Chambers were half brothers. If you could please give Carol a message and let her know we would love to hear from her. I can give you my dads address and phone number.

Thank You so very much. Could you please let me know if you
can give her this message. Thank You so very much,
Carolyn King

Since your query is rather old, I don't know if you ever found the information you wanted. But I believe I know who you are looking for. Chambers was Carol's maiden name. Tom Chambers was her father. Her grandfather was Oscar Threll Chambers. Her three children are named Marty, Becky and Ron. She still resides in Kalamazoo.

I had to research a brother of William's with a name that was semi
uncommon to find this.

I am trying to find out more info about William Chambers who died in
Crawford co. ( now Wyandot) Ohio in 1838. He was born about 1778 I have
a paragraph in a book that I am wondering if I read correctly ? The part
says:
Erasmus Chambers, an extensive landowner and prosperous farmer of
portage township, is a native of Ohio, born Aug. 9, 1814, in Jefferson
county, son of William and Catherine (Barrick) Chambers.
William Chambers' Father was a native of England, and came to this
country in young manhood. He was the owner of a plantation and a number
of slaves, and was quite wealthy. William became a farmer, and settled
in Ohio in pioneer days, dying in Crawford county ( now Wyandot) ohio in
1838.
I am assuming the Father was a William but maybe not ? Also assuming
that the person who came to England as a young man is NOT William of
Crawford co's Father. This is where I need another brain to help me out
ha ha...You would think because he was a large plantation owner ( no
state mentioned) with many slaves that I would have found him somewhere
but so far no clues anyone feel like helping me out ?
