Even though there are several similar names in our ancestry, the Hardin Chambers in my ancestry was born in Hancock County Georgia and died July 22, 1832 in Hancock County, Georgia. In light of your Hardin having made a claim in 1843, this would indicate no connection.
Thanks for the reply, though.
Have a great day, and good luck with the research.

What part of Lancaster County? I have a David Chambers in my line from Conestoga Center, now Conestoga, Lancaster County. He was probably born sometime between 1795 to 1825. His wife Mary Smith was born in 1815. There was also an Amos Chambers in Conestoga who was in the Civil War. I do not know if he was any relation to David Chambers.

I too am looking for information on Elizabeth. The story that is told to me is that Elizabeth was the first wife of James Bennett. She died shortly after giving birth to my grandfather William Asbury (Asberry) Bennett who married Elizabeth Strickland. After her death James married Harriett Grace. I am told she died in Henry Co. Ala. and that my Grandfather was placed in someone else's home to be taken care of.
Again, I have not been able to confirm this, because I have been unable to find any information about him being born of this marriage. It is information that has been passed down to me.
Elizabeth and Jame were married on 6 Nov. 1823. He then married Harriett Grace 20 May 1830. It will be interesting to know how you and I are connected.
Thanks for any response.

looking for info on isaac chambers. He married Henrietta Kelley
Any info would be helpful .
Hi, I have been trying to find my ggg-grandparents William and Biddy
Chambers for some time now and have been unsuccessful in identifing where
they got married and what Biddy's last name is.
William Richard CHAMBERS who was born abt 1820 in Virginia according to the
1850 census, however, the Laclede Co., MO history book says he was from TN.
Biddy was born abt 1824 in Kentucky. She must have moved from KY to MO
before 1842 when she was about 18 years old. The 1860 census reflects that
Biddy was living with her next husband Mosses Bean in Laclede Co., MO.
Biddy's name has also been documented as Bidy, Bida, and Median on the
census. Biddy may be short for Bridget.
About 1841 or 1842 William and Biddy married and had four children who were
all born in MO.
William & Biddy's children were:
Sarah Jane (1843-1897) who married George Simpson,
Payton Gifford (1843-1875) who married Minerva Smith,
William Crumel "Bud" (1845-1914) who marred Margaret Core
Elizabeth Elindar (1849-) who married a Mr. Henderson.
If you have any tips on finding Biddy's last name or if you have any
resources to check where or when they got married I'd really appreciate the
help.
William and Biddy could have married in TN, KY or MO.
The 1850 Census reflects that William and Biddy were living in Texas Co.,
MO., however, I have been unable to identify where they were living in 1840.
The 1850 census also reflects that two children by the last name of
Whitehead were living in their home.
