George A. Chambers purchased 288 acres of land on Rocky River (in
Anderson or Abbeville County, SC) on March 6, 1832 from David Pressley.
I can't find any record of George in 1830 or later except for this one
purchase of land. Does anyone have any idea who this George is. Could
he have come from Pa. There's not any record of him selling this land
at a later date. Thanks Randy.

I am looking for information on the family of Abraham Chambers (b. abt. 1832 in
Indiana) and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Stephens (b. abt. 1835 in Indiana). I
know of one child, Francis Marion Chambers (b. abt 1857 in Iowa), but I believe
there to be other children born to Abraham and Sarah. I am also seeking
information on the parents of Abraham and Sarah. Any information at all would
be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Constance

My George K. Chambers is on the Phila. 1850 census. The name Moon has never come up. There was never a mention of the name Moon. However, his middle name which is probably really a last name is not known those two K names you have on your list is something I will check out.
