I don't give up easily - so here are my Chambers once again - hoping
something will be familiar to some one.
Jeremiah Chambers (June 10, 1854) married Sarah Elizabeth ? (Aug. 16, 1855)
then married Dora Alice ? (Jan. 13, 1867)
I believe the first two daughters were by Sarah - all the other children by
Dora.
Adda Bell Chambers - July 12, 1879
Fredella May Chambers - March 21, 1881
Joseph Eddie Chambers - Aug. 21, 1884
William Robert Chambers - Jan 17, 1886
Emily Cathrine Chambers - March 21, 1888
Mary Mariah Chambers - Oct 25, 1890
My Grandfather was William Robert Chambers - he lived in Malden, Missouri -
but I was always told the family was from Indiana.
Sheila
Have you found any connection to Chambers in NJ? I am researching my

Kathleen,
I've read the Horlacher manuscript. Overall, it's pretty good, but not
perfect. I wouldn't use it as a sole source, but it gave me some places to
search.
You might also look for the book "Trails of the Centuries". It's a history
of the Chambers family written in 1925. Again, not perfect but a good place
to start.
Thomas Chambers of Scott County TN was my great great grandfather.
Sheila
Hello Chambers family!
I recently found a microfilm on the Edmund Chambers family at my local LDS
library!
Title: Chambers families in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana
and Missiour: being mainly a record of three Chambers familes - part I:
Edmund Chambers family; part II: Reynolds Chambers family of Scotland; part
III: Edward Chambers family of Lunenburg Co. VA / compiled by Gary T.
Horlacher.
Film # 1697596 (microfilm)
Contents
Three distinct Chambers families lived in Wilkes Co. North Carolina during
the early history of the area. Each clan takes a seperate section of this
volume and several other Chambers families that can not be tied to any of
these families are also included.
Includes index.
Includes Chambers, Boger, Fletcher, Mize, Moad, Wells, Gray and related
families.
************************************************************************
If some of you have seen and read this microfilm I would appreciate
comments as to whether the information is correct compared to others.
I have tried repeatedly to get ahold of someone in regards to the book by
Frances Chambers Paynter of Winchester KY. If someone knows how I may find
this book I would appreciate it!
I hope this information can help someone!
Kathleen

Did William W. Chambers marry again?

Is anyone on this list researching the following families in the 1700's
and early 1800's, Frederick Co, VA to Greene Co, TN to Ohio and
Illinois, etc?
I have a DODD connection (William>Edward>William) to the LITTLERs (John
and Samuel), CHAMBERS (Catherine), ROSS (Alexander) and MINSHALL
(Rachel) and would love to compare notes.
