I am searching for information on Amos Chambers, he was my gg grandfather.
Amos was born Aug 22, 1834 in St. Clair, Michigan. He married Clara Hoyt (possibly in 1860) in or near Cokato, Minnesota. He enlisted in Company "E" of the Second Minnesota Volunteer Infantry. He and his family moved to Stockholm Township in 1875.
Amos and Clara had 9 children:
George, Richard Nucum (my great grandfather), John S., Sherman T., Frances (daughter), Elmer, Wilmote F., Frank, and Marietta.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you,
Karen
nk you,
Karen

My GGG grandfather was Aaron G. Chambers born June 9, 1825 in North
Carolina. Our written family history says this info came from the 1900 census
of Kansas. He died Aug. 1, 1909 and was buried at Bethel Cemetary in
Leavenworth Co. KS. His wife was Sarah Jane Clark born June 30, 1837 died May
11, 1894 also buried at Bethel Cemetary. Anyone recognize any of this?

If you're going to send jokes to this list that have nothing to do with
CHAMBERS, please reference your joke on the subject line so I don't waste
