This family is indeed listed in my extensive Chamberlain and Chamberlin research records
here. This is Frederick Bishop Chamberlin, b. 9 Apr 1900, Idaho, probably Coeur
d'Alene, Kootenai Co., d. 13 Jul 1972 (I'm not sure where), who was married, 14
Feb 1925, to Edith Dingle, with two sons listed for them - Frederick Bishop Chamberlin,
Jr., b. 10 Feb 1926 (died 21 Oct 1990, Washington Co., OR; wife Martha) and William
"Bill" Chamberlin, b. c1928. I know nothing of these two sons living in New
Hampshire, as you stated, and would like to learn more from you about them and their
families. Frederick Sr. is 1 of 4 known children of Alfred Victor(11) Chamberlin, b. 15
Jul 1871, perhaps Solon, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, d. 2 Oct 1939, prob. Coeur D'Alene, who
was married c1897, perhaps in Michigan, to Daisy Muller, b. Sep 1872, WI, d. after 1930.
An
Ancestry.com "Crosby Family Tree" appears to list the wrong parents, by the
way, so beware of this. The ancestral line of descent in my records here is listed as:
Anson Bartlett(10), Joel Gaylord(9), William(8), William(7), William(6), William(5),
William(4), Joseph(3), William(2), Henry(1). Formal FGRs (Family Group Records) were
prepared for each generation of this family, on back to Henry(1), by the late Chamberlain
genealogist, David Conrad Chamberlin, Sr., of Salt Lake City, Utah, who was an associate
of mine. His records are maintained by me here, and by Mr. William Mennel of the World
Chamberlain Genealogical Society (I was one of its founders in 1996). David cited David
Holmes(12) Chamberlin of Burbank, CA, a cousin, b. 16 Oct 1905, as his source - a son,
David Holmes Chamberlin, was residing at Yachats, Oregon, in 1998 - you may be interested
in attempting to contact him for further information on other branches of your family.
So, please contact me via Email: jbparker(a)provide.net, for additional information sharing.
