Message Board Post:
I received an
Ancestry.com message from "michelelcr" which I was unable to
answer - the "button" it said to activate a reply didn't work! So hopefully
Michele will receive this reply from me here. First, here is the information she posted:
"While searching the message boards, I saw a post that you had made leading me to
believe that you may be able to help me with my research of my own Chamberlin line. I
would love to verify the information I have gathered thus far and possibly add to it. I
am Michele Crosby Romanowski, dau. of
Catherine Pemberton Crosby/Robert Crosby, dau. of K. Irene Chamberlin Pemberton/Edwin
Pemberton, dau. of Marshall Chamberlin/Marcella Dunn, son of Milo O. Chamberlin/Ella A.
Ripley, son of Hortentius/Hortensious Chamberlin/Mary E Wood, son of John Chamberlin/Laura
Beebe, son of Wright Chamberlin/Sally Holdridge, son of Moses Chamberlin/Jemima Wright,
son of Nathaniel Chamberlin/Elizabeth Hunkins, son of Joseph Chamberlin/Hannah Gilbert,
son of Richard Chamberline/Sarah Bugbee
"If you can verify, dispute, or otherwise add to my info, I would be greatly
appreciative."

And here are my research notes for Marshall:
NOTES
Death notice republished in Chamberlain Chain, Vol. 16, p. 8, compilation of Seneca Co.,
NY records. It mentions his parents' names. Buried in Ovid, NY. Sources cited:
Romulus (newspaper?); vital statistics copied by Betty Auten.
NOTE: Ovid, in Seneca Co., is a village and township lying on the east shore of
Seneca Lake, and just below Romulus Twp.
END OF NOTES
Formally prepared Family Group Records, from Milo O. on back to Richard(1) were prepared
by the late, great Chamberlain genealogist, David Conrad Chamberlin, Sr., of Salt Lake
City, a friend and associate of mine, who died in 2005. I use his FGRs in the work I do
here, and they are also posted on the website of the World Chamberlain Genealogical
Society, easily located online - available to the public - one can download these records
if desired. I recommend that you do so, of course.
Please contact me via Email: jbparker(a)provide.net, if you wish to discuss this information
with me.
