This is William H. H. Chamberlain, b. June 1841, OH, d. 19 Apr 1913 (or was it 1914
sometime?), Jackson Co., OH, who married, 13 August 1863 there, Margaret Henseler, b. Oct
1841, OH, d. 19 Apr 1913, there; six children listed. He is the oldest of eight known
children of Nicholas H. Chamberlain, b. c1813, PA, d. after Feb 1871, who married (1st) 28
Apr 1839, Greenfield Twp., Gallia Co., OH, Susannah Bishop, b. c1818, VA, d. after 1860.
He married 2nd) Sally Shepard, 25 Feb 1871, Jackson Co., OH.

I've not been able to trace this Nicholas Ch'n's ancestry in PA, and it
is unknown just when he came to Gallia Co., OH. There is no one else listed nearby him in
1840. One could search OH & PA 1830 census records for this name (I haven't taken
the time to do this), but it is unlikely he would have been listed as head of household at
that time since he was only 18 years of age, but this is worth a try. Early Gallia &
Jackson counties (or other nearby places), OH land, probate and other records might reveal
something more.
