This appears to be the Rosanna(7) Chamberlain/lin, 1 of 9 children listed in my records
here for Nathaniel(6) Chamberlain/lin, b. 9 Feb 1788, probably Newbury, Orange Co., VT,
& Lydia Ferrin, b. about 1790, Canada. I knew nothing about Rosanna, until viewing
your message, other than her name. Nathaniel probably died in Hull or Old Chelsea,
Quebec, where some of his children were born beginning in 1814, but I'm uncertain
about this. Nathaniel is 1 of 11 known children of Nathaniel (5) Chamberlain, born 5 May
1746, Northfield, Hampshire Co., MA, died 10 Dec 1801, Hull, Quebec, who was married, 30
Apr 1771, in Newbury, Orange Co., VT, to Mehitable Elliott, b. 17 Sep 1753, Rockingham,
Chester Twp., NH, d. 22 Apr 1836, Hull, Quebec, daughter of Edumnd & Mehitable
(Worthen) Elliott. This line has been traced on back to Richard(1) Chamberlain, one of
the 5 original Ch'n immigrant ancestors in early New England. Refer to a
professionally prepared (by the late David Conrad Chamb!
erlin, Sr. of Salt Lake City) Family Group Record #4673 for Nathaniel(5) [and FGRs for
each ancestor on back to Richard(1)] in the website of the World Chamberlain Genealogical
Society - easily located online - which FGRs you can view and download if you wish. The
FGR for Nathaniel provides his Revolutionary War service record, by the way. Please
contact me via Email, James B. Parker, at jbparker(a)provide.net, if you wish to learn more
about Nathaniel(6) and his family.
