I don't find Edwin & Mary Elizabeth (Chamberlin) Kent listed in my research files,
nor in LDS records. If you do have more specific data for them than what you've
listed, I'd appreciate seeing it, including any dates for any of the persons you
listed. It would also be nice to know your source for Mary Elizabeth's birth place,
and about when she was born there (perhaps judging from the ages of her children, if
known). Evidently you have no marriage records for them. Also, anything more you know
about the Kent family. Pierce Chamberlain was one of the first settlers in Rchmond,
Ontario Co., NY before 1800, and his ancestry has been traced. There are quite a number
of Chamberlain/lin families listed in Ontario Co., NY from 1800 on, but only a few in
Richmond, which is the name of the township where the village of Honeoye is located - the
New York State Gazetteer states that Honeoye is the business center of the Town of
Richmond. Specifically, the brothers, Beekman and Me!
lancton Chamberlin (parents unknown) were there with their families in the 1820-1840
period but relocated to Armada Twp., Macomb Co., MI, by 1840. The only other person in
census records in Richmond was a William Chamberlin in 1830 and 1840, who is unidentified
- I do not have the actual census data for him. Malancton had a daughter b. 1816-1820,
whose name is unidentified, and his wife's name was Mary Adams, so this is a distinct
possibility if the birth dates match your Mary Elizabeth. Beekman had a daughter named
Mary, b. 1839 in Michigan and she married someone else.
This is what little I could locate, but hope it is helpful to you. Please contact me
