THE INFORMATION I AM GIVING YOU IS COMING DIRECT FROM THE 1870 CENSUS AND THE 1900 CENSUS.
WE GENERALLY ACCEPT THE FACT THAT WE ARE DECENDED FROM JANE CHALMERS (GRANNY JANE). THERE
IS NO RECORD OF HER EVER BEING MARRIED. HER DEATH CERTIFICATE LIST HER PARENTS AS THOMAS
AND MARY CHALMERS. SHE DIED IN 1921 THE AGE OF 78.THE 1870 CENSUS LIST HER LIVING IN THE
HOUSEHOLD OF STARLING RICHARDSON(RITTER TOWNSHIP. SHE IS THERE WITH A SON WHO IS THREE
MONTHS OLD IN 1870. THIS CHILD IS HENRY THOMAS CHALMERS , THE 1900 CENSUS PICKS HER UP IN
DEEP RIVER TOWNSHIP(HAW BRANCH). THE FOLLOWING ARE THE REST OF HER CHILDREN;
MARY(1873)..STARLING(1875)..REBECCA(1879)..E,,,(1885)..GEORGE(MYRTLE'S
FATHER)(1887),,GILPHEY,(1892). It has always been accepted that Starling Richardson is the
Grandfather of all of These(thomas") children Uncle George always told us of our ties
to the Richardsons. The Richardsons are buried in the Mount Zion Cemetary in Robbins. I
intend to start there when I finish all !
of Moore County. I was at New Zion Cemetary yesterday . I did note a Julia Williams buried
there. she was born Jan 1860 and died in 1927. Also a N.W. Williams born 1859 and died in
1911. I hope that by using the Archives I will be able to list heads of households. I will
document where all the information is derived from for the benifit of those that may wish
to take it farther. The Moore County Historian has been a tremendous help in getting me
started. I am now on my own..be blessed..Cousin Graham
