all the details should be available.
Anything in IGI after about 1875 you can't trust at all.

Managed to find out that this was the correct family after all.
On 1881 census for this family there was a John CHALMERS showing age 1
reaidng as grandson. Checked his birth records which shows his father
as henry CHALMERS and mohter reads as Mary P.G.G. Aunt Bennie.
I found this a bit strange for a name. Does anyone know if perhaps the
initials stand for something.
Obtained the records from IGI which stated that the information was
provided after 1991. Don't know how reliable this may be.
Appreciate anyone thoughts re this.
