Thanks for writing! As lists go this is very small...in fact its just you
and me at the moment. I guess Challingsworth isn't very common!
I'm always interested in Challingsworth sightings. If you want to send
them to the list feel free, then they will be recorded in the archives
(when the archiver begins working properly again).
My Challingsworths are from the Kingswinford area of Stafford.
Eliza Challingsworth born abt 1814 in Kingswinford married Peter FIRMSTONE
her parents
Joseph Challingsworth born abt 1767 married Susannah WILLIAMS
his parents
Ralph Challingsworth born abt 1730 married Ann Worrall
Thats all I have on them for the moment.
I have various siblings and such, I collect any Challingsworth entries that
I come across in the various censuses and parish registers that I come across.
Did your Chellingsworths originate in London and move to the Birmingham area?
