you say that George Challenger married Grace Summers 25 Dec 1826 at
St Nicholas with St Leonard, Bristol. I have there children as follows taken from 1841 /
1851 Census & Baptism records:

I have no record of Anna Maria Challenger bapt 25 Dec 1829 Radstock unless she was the Ann
who was found living at home on the 1841 census?
also found living with George & Grace on the 1841 Census was a young
George Challenger age 20yrs bapt 28 Jan 1820 Kilmersdon (son of James Challenger &
Lucy Gardener) they were married July 1820 Kilmersdon.
James was killed in the coal mine & buried 13 Nov 1831 Radstock his widow Lucy
re-married Israil Parker at Camerton on the 1st of May 1836.
When the young George Challenger married Betsey Box on 11 May 1845 at
St James in Bath he gave his fathers name as George.
Her parents were John & Emma Box who were living next-door on the 1851 census.to
George & Betsey/Elizabeth Challenger and a few doors away from George senior &
Grace in Clandown Midsomer Norton.
By 1861 Young George & Betsey had moved to Llanhilleth, Monmouthshire
( I have more on his decedents)
He was followed to Monmouthshire by his cozen Aaron ( bn 1834) son of George & Grace.
Aaron (5) Challenger married Ann? abt 1865. On the 1881 census they were living in
Penybont, Abetillery Monmouthshire with there two children John J bn 1865, &
Sarah A bn 1880.
Sidney (11) Challenger bn 1849 youngest son of George & Grace also moved to
Abertillery with his wife Mary by the 1871 census.
there children are as follows:

2) Emma Challenger bn 1874 Abertillery, Monmouthshire
3) Gracina Challenger bn 1876 Cwm,bapt 27 Jan 1878 Ebbw Vale, Monmouthshire
