Thank you for sending the link. I was unable to find this Hugh Chain in my Columbiana
County Cemetery index and I don't have any info to confirm who this Hugh Chain is.I
need to find a death certificate on him or the cemetery record of when he was interred to
be sure who he was.
Do you know who provided the information on his wife and children? If it is Hugh Chain,
Elizabeth's father, then his first wife and children by that marriage should be listed
also at find-a-grave.
In general, one of the problems with listing genealogy research online is that the
information is only as accurate as the person providing it has verified. In this case, who
ever listed the information did not either know about the children from the first marriage
or the first marriage or did not list them thinking it had no relevance on their
ancestors. Thus lost ancestors floating around waiting to be discovered.
