AOL problems section.)
To subscribers of the Chadbourne Family Association's free mailing list,
Chadbourne-L(a)rootsweb.com, and the related lists for the families GOODWIN & SPENCER

grand-dau.):
The following article is from "Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter" of
Oct. 12 and is copyright 2003 by Richard W. Eastman. It is re-published here with the
permission of the author. Information about that superb weekly NEWSLETTER is available
at
http://www.eogn.com. [This reviewer, Ted Chadbourne, CFA List-master, particularly
recommends the PLUS Edition, since 2-4 of the most interesting articles are restricted to
those who subscribe to that. However, a free Standard Edition is also very good.
"The 7th New England Regional Genealogical Conference will be held in just a few
weeks: November 6 - 9, 2003. This is a great event for anyone researching New England
ancestry. There will be 65 different lectures Thursday afternoon through Sunday
morning." [For more info., see website at the end of this notice. ~ Ted.]
"I" [Dick Eastman] "will be at this conference, as will Pam Clark, the
editor of this newsletter. We are both making presentations and also are looking forward
to hearing many of the others. Other presenters include: Bette Innes Bradway, William
Budde, Sharon D. Carmack, Sandra MacLean Clunies, John Philip Colletta, Ralph J. Crandall,
Pauline Cusson, Marie E. Daly, David Curtis Dearborn, Janis P. Duffy, David W. Dumas,
James W. Gould, Bennett Greenspan, Walter V. Hickey, Henry B. Hoff, Thomas F. Howard,
Harlan R. Jessup, Sharon Kennedy, John W. Konvalinka, Anne S. Lainhart, Dianne B. Lenti,
Barbara Jean Matthews, Marcia D. Melnyk, David L. Mishkin, Donna M. Moughty, John C.
Murray, Patricia L. Odiorne, Laura G. Prescott, John M. Raposo, Richard Clarke Roberts,
Vera Robinson, Thomas H. Roderick, Andre Senecal, Jonathan D. Shea, Kay Sheldon, Maureen
A. Taylor, Helen Schatvet Ullmann, Donna E. Walcovy, Vicki Welch, Ruth Quigley Wellner and
Alex Woodle. . . . Whew! That is quite!
a line-up!
"The New England Regional Genealogical Conference is being held at the Sea Crest
Oceanfront Resort & Conference Center in North Falmouth, Massachusetts. For those of
you not familiar with the area, North Falmouth is on Cape Cod. Many of the locals will
tell you that the autumn is the best time to visit Cape Cod, long after the summer
tourists have left. Prices in restaurants and hotels are also much cheaper in November
than in the height of the tourist season. I hope to see you there."
