Descendants of the James SPENCER and Daniel GOODWIN of Old Kittery, Maine, are superbly
accounted for* on the Chadbourne Family's (CFA) CD-2000, and are all welcome at next
months major reunion, described here..
The latest Chadbourne Family newsletter, "The Pied Cow", edited by
"Kitty" (Ahlquist) Chadbourne is now being mailed from Sanford, Maine, first
class, to members of the Chadbourne Family Association by another former CFA President,
Roger Chadbourne. The first batch was mailed today, Tuesday, July 20th.
It includes a detailed program for our REUNION, AUGUST 12-15, 2004 (overlapping a reunion
of the Shapleigh Family Association).
All interested in the Chadbourne family (and the many families which descend from it) are
welcome, whether or not among the thousands of "hanging Chads" who've not
discovered yet all their early Kittery / Berwick, Maine ancestors!
Every five years the Chadbournes have met in the summer (vs. normal Fall foliage season)
to encourage families from afar.
For a look at this year's enhanced three-day program in southern Maine, see

* See laudatory reviews in "The Maine Genealogist", "Eastman's Online
Genealogy Newsletter" and the "New England Historic Genealogical Register".
While at the website (scroll down to see), a 26,000- name INDEX including most of those
on the Chadbourne CD-2000 ( still available) whose professionally-documented SIX
generation descent lines include ALL FEMALE LINES (daughters of daughters of daughters,
etc.), making it a premier site for many the early families of York County. Beyond that,
the male lines are followed to the present - including grandchildren, parents of spouses,
etc., to the extent known, with extensive source citation.
