If you get two copies of this, likely you're subscribed to both the
Goodwin-List and the Chadbourne-List. The former is in a vital stage right
now, but the latter's almost dormant. We're polling Chadbourne-List members
for their preference (reply directly to me or to the Chadbourne-List)
whether you'd like the default reply address to be the List (as Goodwin) or
to the sender (as Chadbourne-L now is).
You may also have received an extra copy because this is going by blind copy
to about ten Spencer/Chadbourne descendants and several
Goodwin/Spencer/Chadbourne ones who may or may not subscribe to the Goodwin
List. (For information about that, write Goodwin listowner Ley K O'Connor
<CASHEL3776(a)aol.com>. Manager of CHADBOURNE-L(a)ROOTSWEB.COM is Christine
Pettit <cpettit(a)pe.net> who also manages lists for Strafford Co. NH
NHSTRAFF-L(a)ROOTSWEB.COM and for York County, Maine MEYORK-L(a)ROOTSWEB.COM.
Thanks, Jill Goodwin Palmer, for reminding us of Yankee Magazine's webpage.
Any who got there more than an hour before this post may have seen obsolete
data (it omitted the year) as that Chadbourne reunion was last August, so we
added the post below.
"Chadbourne Family Assoc. reunion, Sun. Oct.14, 2001, So.Berwick ME area,

A few of many Goodwins-of-Maine descendants anticipated at the Chadbourne
reunion this October 14 in Maine include:
Alice Goodwin Sharp, President of the Goodwin Family Organization (GFO) and
her husband Murray Sharp, a fine couple from New Mexico, will be guests of
my wife Kitty and me at the above foliage-season Chadbourne reunion. We
also look forward to some from this Goodwin-List including GFO VP George
Howe and CFA Director Rick Morgan who's from that branch of the Maine
Goodwins who migrated to Nova Scotia. Rick and wife are migrating now from
SE Mass. to live in Vermont, whereas George Howe re-located this past year
from Idaho to Maine.
Interesting immediate posts at
http://www.newengland.com/geniereunions/index.html. If you posted a Spencer
family reunion (neither Yankee Magazine nor I know of one) to be on Brown
Drive, it'll also be listed under Brown. That almost-too-clever robot
indexer will thus find the Chadbourne Reunion if you query for Goodwin or
Spencer at the hyperlink in this paragraph.
