Hello fellow genealogists,
I thought I'd introduce myself since I'm new to the list. I'm researching the
De Herrera family of which both my parents are of. Here is what our line looks like:
Our line of Herrera's begin in Mission de San Juan and Santa Clara.... My lines go
something like this:
Mom's line starting w/ her father: Augustin DeHerrera married to Adelaida Chacon,
Andres DeHerrera c. 1860 married to Maria Delores Cordova, Jose Luciano DeHerrera c. 1823
married to Maria Andrea Garcia, Francisco DeHerrera c. early 1800s married to Maria Estela
Espinosa, Juan Antonio DeHerrera c. mid 1700s married to Juana Atencio (1st wife) &
Maria (Margarita) Montes Vigil (2nd wife) my father's line starting w/ his father:
Teodoro DeHerrera married to Elenor Salas, Margarito (Mage) DeHerrera c. 1888 married to
Vivianita Arguello , Ramon DeHerrera c. 1859 married to Alcaria Garcia , Jose de Jesus
DeHerrera c.1819 married to Manuela Sisneros (1st wife) and Maria Ysable de los Remedios
Duran (2nd wife), Francisco DeHerrera married to Maria Estela Espinosa, Juan Antonio
DeHerrera c. mid 1700s married to Juana Atencio (1st wife) & Maria (Margarita) Montes
Vigil (2nd wife)
You see that my parents line intersect. My father's family moved to Mora eventually
and then both families ended up in Colorado (dad's in Center and mom's in
Manassa.)
My mom has documented many families of Herreras along the way. Would love to see if you
connect to ours.
Diane
