Patti is an accurate researcher. The two of us have been sharing
information for a couple years. She has been doing research in
Ireland. I don't know exactly what information is in her book so please
contact her with questions.

I am finishing up a history on the Cessna family. Before I have it
published, I must know how many books to print. (There will be ONLY ONE
PRINTING.) It will be about 110 pages, beginning with Jean de Cessna of
France (born 1668?), with old photos; it's an 8 1/2 X 11 inch leather
bound
book. Printing costs have risen about 10% since my last book was
printed,
but it is still the best price around here and the printer specializes in
printing genealogies. The approx. cost will be $33 each if I have 50
copies
printed, $28.50 if I have 75 printed & $25.75 if I have 100
printed - plus
postage & envelope.
Do you want any books? If so, how many? Let me know by e-mail or mail by
Friday, April 12, and be sure to let me know if your mail address has
changed. Send no money. I will let you know when they are ready, which
will
probably be in about 8 weeks.
If you know of any Cessna descndants who would like a copy, please forward
this message to them. I feel it is an interesting book, a way to know
more
about where you came from. I do not claim to be the world's
greatest
authority on the Cessnas, but I have tried to be as accurate as possible
and
there has not been anything printed on this family that I am aware of
since
Howard Cessna wrote his now-out-of-print books. (God bless him!) If
you
are
a fellow researcher, you will have a chance to second guess me and
offer
corrections!
Even though I wrote it, I will say that I think you & your family will
cherish this book. And, as they say on those TV infommercials, you can't
get
it anywhere else!
