Let me confuse you a bit. Isaac and Elizabeth's grandson John Friend
married Elizabeth Walters a granddaughter to Isaac's sister Nancy
Friend and her husband Jediah Ashcraft. They had Mary Friend Wimsett
who was my great great grandmother.
I knew Jediah Ashcraft was notorious for fighting Indians, but his
brother in law Jonathan Cessna was right there with him

Eliazabeth Cessna was indeed a younger sister of Jonathon Cessna
(1752-1781) who was killed by indians at Phillips Fort,
Kentucky. Details are presented in the House of Cessna including:
"Jonathan took his son, William, in his arms, kissed him good-bye
and told him to be a good boy and obey his mother. He never returned
to his pleasant cabin home or his beloved family, but was numbered
with the slain after the bloody war was over."
