Hi Jamey
Eliazabeth Cessna was indeed a younger sister of Jonathon Cessna (1752-1781) who was
killed by indians at Phillips Fort, Kentucky. Details are presented in the House of
Cessna including:
"Jonathan took his son, William, in his arms, kissed him good-bye and told him to be
a good boy and obey his mother. He never returned to his pleasant cabin home or his
beloved family, but was numbered with the slain after the bloody war was over."

Subject: [CESSNA] Elizabeth Cessna Friend ????
Hi All,
I am just starting to research this family and I sure don't have any
proof to anything, that's why I'm here. According to what I can piece
together my 5th great grandfather Isaac Friend came into Kentucky
from Pennsylvania with a number of siblings:
1. Mary who married Jonathan Cessna
2. Susannah who married Philip Phillips of Phillip Fort in Kentucky
3. Nancy who married Jediah Ashcraft
and Isaac Friend who was to have married Elizabeth Cessna. Was
Elizabeth a sister to Jonathan Cessna?
