Subject: [losbexarenos] Public Radio Documentary
Researcher WANTED
Public Radio Documentary Researcher WANTED.
Race With History would like to contract with one
individual in each locale
(Arlington, Waco, Austin, College Station, Denton,
El Paso etc.) to begin
the research. Depending on how well the work
together goes, we will
consider hiring one or more researcher to travel
around Texas, perhaps
accompanying the Project Director.
Accordingly, we expect researchers will work between
5 hours and 50 hours
locally. We can pay $8-10/hr plus expenses in the
initial phase, depending
on skills -- perhaps more if the individual's work
includes dubbing and
copying as well as archival research. (Sorry to be
so chintzy but we are a
small freelance outfit and are supported only by a
TCH grant. Researchers
will also receive credit on our websites, including
www.racewithistory.org
and possibly on-air as well.)
Work will begin in a very few days and may continue
into June.
Anyone interested in the position, please email your
resume, phone numbers
and a good time to call you,
Alan Lipke
