Joseph F. Vojak, 84, of Champaign, IL died at 3:20 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 16,
2003) at Southwest Washington Medical Center, Vancouver, Wash.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304
Regency Drive West, Savoy, 61874
Mr. Vojak was born March 9, 1918, in Cook County, a son of John and
Josephine Cerne Vojak. He married Theresa Van-Beveren on June 6, 1942. She
died Dec. 19, 2001.
Survivors include a son, William Vojak of Battle Ground, Wash.; three
daughters, Colleen Vojak of Champaign, IL, Eldora Ondrus of Menomonie, Wis.,
and Bernadine Nyboer of Anchorage, Alaska; 10 grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Vojak worked at Crane Company in Chicago for more than 40 years. He
served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Bethel Reformed Church, Chicago. Memorials can be
made to the church.
