Note: I am a descendant of Nathan Center. I am researching Nathan back to
VA where sources state that he came from twenty years prior to the American
Revolution. The Center-Senter names listed may be of no connection other
than Nathan and Martha Taylor-Center and the Rives family whom Nathan Jr
married into. However, the records of John Taylor, Martha's father, state
that many settlers came to SC from the same section of VA and many of the
families had blood ties to the Taylor's prior to emigration to SC. Nathan's
son, Nathan (Jr.) married into the Rives family.
The following is a working chart of family locations in VA possibly related
to the Nathan Center line. I am trying to establish Nathan Center's roots
in VA. Any information would be appreciated.
