It appears from the Rolls on file in this Office, that William T. Senters was
enrolled on the 26th day of Oct. 1861, at Estill Springs, in Company "K", 8th
Regiment of KY Inf. Volunteers, to serve Three years, or during the war, and mustered into
service as a Pvt. on the 15th day of January, 1862, at Lebanon KY in Company K, 8th Regt.
of KY Inf Volunteers to serve Three years or during the war. On the Muster Out Roll Of
Company "D", of that Regiment, dated November 17th, 1864, he is reposted
Discharged for disability March 28, 1862 at Nashville, Tenn.
Signed, Adj. General......the signature is very hard to make out...could be Saml. Breck
To continue with William T. Senters:
It gives his age as 18, shows him enrolled Oct. 26th, 1861;
another card says: enrollment 16 December 31, 1861, present or absent not stated.
For January and February 1862, present, Co. K, 8th REgt.
For March and April 1862, absent. Remarks: Left in Hospital at Nashville, 28 March 1862.
For May and June, 1862. Absent. Remarks: Left in hospital at Nashville, March 28, 1862.
April 10, 1863, Remarks: Sent home on discharge furlough from Nashville, home is Breathitt
Co. KY.
June 23, 1864, Deserted March 17, 1862, Nashville, Tenn.
William T. Senters, Pvt., Co D, Batt'n KY INfantry.
Age 18 years appears on Co. Muster Out Roll dated Chattanooga, Tenn., Nov. 17th 1864, Last
paid to Dec. 31, 1861.
Remarks: Discharged Mar. 28/62 Nashville, Gen'l Buell's order.
