Here is the obit for KARL WINFIELD SENTER. Although no relation to
me, I can't help but point out that he and his wife were married for
73 years plus went through four wars! WOW!

Karl Winfield Senter
Private services for Karl Winfield Senter, 95, of Vacaville will be
held. Mr. Senter died Aug. 12, 2001, in Vaca Valley Hospital.
Born July 13, 1906, in Hickory, N.C., he resided in Vacaville for 49
years. He worked as a mechanic. He and his wife had been married 73
years, they had been together through World War I, World War II, the
Korean Conflict and the Persian Gulf War and the death of a son, Fred.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and just being in the great outdoors.
Mr. Senter is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mable of Vacaville;
daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Albert Lopez of Vacaville and
Barbara and Lee Karnes of Vallejo; five grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
