Candy, I too found the notation in notes that this Ann Cecil b c 1692, was
the daughter of a James Cecil and Elizabeth unknown, and that she had a
brother James, who would have been b c 1680-1800+. Any more thoughts on who
her brother could have been-let alone her father.

Hi Randy et al;
Here is my reply as sent to Melissa:
I have records of Ann Cecil, daughter of Daniel and Ann Cecil, christened july
20, 1666 at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados.
Also record of Ann Cecil, child of James and Elizabeth Cecil, 15 years old in
the census 1715 in Barbados.
I also have a note that Thomas Witten married Mary Bulkley on Dec 31, 1656 in
Barbados. I belive that Elise Jourdan feels that this name was Witmer, not
Witten.
Since I have not seen the original records, I can't swear which is which!
til later, Penny
ps: This family in Barbados in 1715 had children Martin, James (2 years),
Ann, Elizabeth and Sarah. Lots more Cecils in Barbados. If you wish, I can
list them!
