Mary
(Unknown) recorded in Anne Arundel Circuit of the ME Church, Anne Arundel

No further information. Could this be a brother of the Benjamin White we are
looking for?????

Also found is Sir Robert Wingfield b. c1522 or so in England d. 1580 Upton,
Eng. son of Robt who md Elizabeth Cecil who had dau. Lady Dorothy Wingfield
that md Adam Clepole 30 Sep 1586.
Their son was Sir John Claypool/Clepole b. 13 Apr 1595 England md to
Mary/Marie Angell who had issue: James/Sir John Claypoole b. 8 Oct 1634
England d. 6 Aug 1687 in Phil. PA md Helena Mercer 12 Dec 1657 in Germany;
she Helena d. 19 Aug 1688 in Phil. PA d/o Balthauser Mercer and Elizabeth
Kennedy.
Their issue was Joseph Claypoole b. 14 May 1677 in London d. 8 May 1744
Phil. PA that md Elizabeth Ward 4 Apr 1716 Phil. PA
Issue was James Claypoole b. 21 Jan 1720 Phil, PA d. 1796 in Jamaica who md
Rebecca White 24 May 1742 in Phil. PA. Rebecca White was d/o Joseph White
and
Mary ? Issue: Samuel Garwood b. Burlinton, N.J. was s/o James Claypoole and
Rebecca White. Samuel Garwood md a Rebecca.
NOTE: Is there any wonder why we have problems tracing the families?
The s/o Claypoole and White taking name of Garwood? (give us a little break)
Is there a possible connection here? Anyone have any help or ideas?
