I have the Earls of Exeter (and title Cecil line) documented on line
from David Cecil's book:
(I may be shaky on some documentation, but I don't believe I do on the
titled Cecil line.
http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=mad
agtenet&id=I04717
)
The issue I do not believe we have proven is how the Cissell line of the
immigrant John Baptist Cissell b 1638-1640, connects to the Cecil line.
I do not have this John Cissell directly connected to the Cecil
immigrants-even though I believe there is some, because I am not
satisfied that any one has found the correct connection. The info is
probably documented somewhere in the English records-then again, maybe
the DNA studies may shortcut that.
