I don't know the parents of Susan White and James Cecil/Sissell. Wish I did.
I don't think they are of the line of Samuel Cecil and Rebecca White. At
first I thought they were so I researched that line but they appear to be in the
group that came from St. Mary's Co.. Maryland to Nelson Co..KY with the league
of families. Their oldest son William R. Cecil was born in Washington Co. KY
soon after their marriage so my guess is that James was from either Nelson or
Washington Cos. at the time of their marriage in 1817 in Mercer Co. There were
so many James Cecil/Cissell/Sissells in that area it is pretty hard to keep
them straight. I know I can't.
