My experiece shows that just because the experts say your not related I have
found that the experts were continuing an old tradition of "whitewashing". I
would hold on to that book, while some of the data may not fit,.or not look
right, that does not mean that it was not correct. If you hold my book I
published against another respected researcher of the Shivers family you
will find areas that do not agree because I printed the truth as found and
the other researcher whitewashed the edges of her data to make connections
impossible into Black, Native, Slaveowning or Religiously different
families. Much of the difference in the books about my family also covers up
the facts that family stole inheritence property from cousins and their
books that followed were only attempts to hide the truth from the family.
Name spelling changes and other differences in the family helped elude
researchers but those previous books still contained valid references which
led me to the proof I needed to print my book with the real truth allowing
the family to see who was hiding what from the family.
So while my book may also show up on a shelf somewhere for $1.00 does not
disolve my research effort or the truthful clues that I did uncover. I have
nothing to hide about my family and present my data with real documents to
back it up, not just footnotes.
Thanks Jimmy
