have been looking for some time on family connection .. i don't have much
info but i do have some .. my great grandfather was George silas cecil he
was born in 1876. he married Elizabeth ash . they had three sons Vayne A.
cecil , Charles cecil , and darrell cecil . my grandfather was Vayne a.
cecil he was born Nov.2 , 1908 he passed away jan. 20, 1961 my mother was a
little girl .. may be this will give you and start .. maybe we can put this
to gether .. i know when my great grandfather passed away that we had family
in kentucky . because they came up for his viewing in heartford city ind. i
think thats where it was .. do you happen to know where this james h cecil
is buried at ? be cause there is a family plot up here in Paoli that has a
bunch of cecil's in it . one of the head stones say J . H. Cecil it is a
military stone .. plus there another stone sitting next to it that says
wife of j.H. cecil . Nancy cecil .. i will have to get my papers out a look
at the dates on them .. please e-mail me any time .. please let me know if
this fits in any where in your familytree .... my mother's name is Linda
Jean Cecil Harkness .. she had a brother named Vayne Cecil they called him
jr. also i'm looking for info on Sally cecil who had a crippled arm .. she
died up here in orleans ind. with my aunt dora roll .. i will get more info
