Memorial services will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Tabernacle
Baptist Church for Ms. Tamera L. Cecil-Hall, 50, who departed this life Friday, Feb. 12,
2010, at her home.
Ms. Cecil-Hall, lovingly known as "Tammy," was born March 22, 1959, in
Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Waverly C. and Ruth V. Vance Cecil.
She was a 1977 graduate of The Rayen School and attended Akron University. She was a mail
carrier with the U.S. Post Office for 10 years. She was a member of the Postal Workers
Union, enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams were New York
Giants and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She an Army veteran and was in the Army Reserves.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother, Ruth V. Hall of Youngstown; her
beloved son, Darren C. Hall of Bowie, Md.; two sisters, Kimberly Tyson of Youngstown and
Carla D. Talley of Georgia; two brothers, Donnie R. Cecil of California and Ronald F.
Mobley of Michigan; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Benjamin Hall.
Friends may call Thursday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.
