My Uncle William Sease lived in Elmira all his life. My Father Glenn and
his brother Clifford, Went back and forth from Elmira to Ohio (my mom)
and his grandmother lived in Breezeport. They were sign painters and neon
sign repair. Once they had the father in the car and went through Penn
and he had tears in his eyes and said "there all gone" but refused to say
more.
My cousins, children of Bill Sease, all lived in Emira. I lost contact
with them, they were all girls and remarried. They were Connie, Thelma,
Loydena, Carolyne and Barlene. i believe they still do. After my father
moved down to Georgia with me, They never wrote again.
My father said we had relatives called Beers besides the others I listed.
Grandmother Margaret Cooley lived for a while in Ohio but she moved back
to New York and lived there the last 20 or so years of her life. My notes
of what my father told me is all I had to go on.
Thanks for any help. I really appriciate anything. I have found out that
Ferdinand Newell was in the Civil war as Union for NY and applied for
pension as well as his widow Mary A. Sease. I have ordered the pension
online but it takes between 42 days and 120 days to get it. I am hoping
she left another clue.
wish me luck!
Nancy
