Seeking information about family of Smith R. SEARS (s/o Levi, John Levi, Joseph J.,
Thomas, Joseph), b. 1847, Fayette Co., IL, and his wife Isabella/Isabell/Isabel M.
CARLOCK/CEARLOCK (d/o Isaac CARLOCK/CARELOCK, George W. CARLOCK/CEARLOCK, probably David
CARLOCK, Frederick Cornelius CARLOCK, David GERLACH/CARLOCK, Hans GERLACH), b. 1858, IL.
Can anyone verify the correct death dates and places for these two individuals?

Betty knew a little about her family up to her great grandparents names or some of them I
should say. As far as I can figure, using the censuses her great grandmother was Isabell
Carlock/Cearlock. She married Smith SEARS, and is on the 1900 census with five of her
children, Smith must have been off somewhere else as he isn't listed with her...
She is again on the 1920 census in Rogers Co.,OK with Smith her husband. They are 72, and
71 I believe.
There seems to be confusion as to their deaths...WCProject has different dates for her
death and also states died in Detroit, MI....
Smith Sears death is listed as PawPaw, Lee Co, IL...
Do you have any information on this couple?
