My uncle, Clarence Edgar Cearlock, was born March 24, 1898, in Edinburgh, IL,
the second child (and first son) of James Otis and Minnie May (Carter)
Cearlock. He was married March 8, 1917, to Ona Catherine Williams. He spent
most of his life in Fayette, Christian and Shelby Counties in Illinois as a
Southern Baptist preacher. He went to live with his daughter, Hazel Muirhead
in Lexington, Ky. after retirement and died in Lexington, KY on June 22,
1986.
If I can be of further help, let me know.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the Clarence CEARLOCK found in the Social Security Death
Index, b. 25 Mar 1898; d. Jun 1986; a railroad worker who lived in Lexington, KY, is the
same person as Clarence E. CEARLOCK (s/o James Otis, James Robert, John Henry, Abraham,
George W. CARLOCK/CEARLOCK who m. Rachel LANDERS), b. ca. 1898?
