Until I subscribed to this list, I had never seen Carelock spelled as
Cearlock. How did either evolve?

So far everyone who has responded to my question about the pronunciation of=20
the name "CEARLOCK" has agreed on the pronunciation of the name like=20
"CARELOCK". However, I did not get a lot of responses, and several major=20
branches of our family tree were not represented. Please respond to the lis=
t=20
if you know of any CEARLOCKs using a pronunciation other than "CARELOCK".
I also appologize for taking so long to respond to my e-mails. I still=20
cannot access the most current version of my database until I finish doing=20
some upgrading.
